Corno di Toro and Cauliflower

The Corno di Toro is an Italian sweet pepper whose name signifies Bull’s Horn. They grew well in the garden this year.

I stuffed several of these peppers with a mixture of onions, bulgar wheat and kidney beans, and set them in the oven like a row of small boats. They were very tasty. I served them along with stuffed sole and this head of cauliflower, which I must admit was perfectly formed.
